Mosaic Media Group is a company we heard was looking in the West Hollywood, Century City and Beverly Hills submarkets for 40k sf and they are being repped by Mark Sullivan from Studley. 6/07
We heard, but have our doubts, that Google, Rosie O'Donnell's favorite company, is rumored to be looking for about 100k sf of space on the Westside with Warren Wixen spearheading the search. 6/07
Fox Interactive Media is another sizable requirement, we hear between 200k and 300k sf, for its MySpace subsidiary and affiliated groups, and the broker who is analyzing the options for them is David Gordon from Studley. 6/07
Venable LLP is a company in need of about 40k sf on the Westside and we heard that Blake Mirkin from CB Richard Ellis is their tenant rep. 6/07
Vantage Media, which is currently in Venice, is looking for 20k to 30k sf of space as far south as El Segundo. They are repped by Brian Davies and Dave Toomey from CRESA Partners 6/07.
Mobile Messenger is zeroing in on about 20k sf of space in Santa Monica, which is being negotiated by Brian Davies and Dave Toomey from CRESA Partners. 6/07
UTA, one of the sizable talent agencies still in Beverly Hills, at Wilshire Rodeo, has been analyzing its options for 100k sf of space with the tenant rep leadership of Guardian's Robert Chavez. 6/07
Ladas and Pary, now at 5670 Wilshire in Miracle Mile, is currently analyzing its options for 12k sf of space, with Robert Chavez from Guardian as the tenant rep point man. 6/07
The law firm of Dummit, Briegleb, Boyce & Buchholz, located at Landmark I, is exploring opportunities for 18k sf of space. Leading the charge for the firm is Robert Chavez from Guardian Real Estate. 6/07
Seyfarth Shaw is a law firm now on the Westside that is analyzing options for 80k sf, either on the Westside or Downtown. Mike Catalano and David Kluth from Studley are repping the firm. 6/07
Carl Storz Endoscopy is looking for about 100k sf of space in the southern parts of the Westside, such as in Culver City, down into El Segundo. They are in 70k sf now at 600 Corporate Pointe with a lease expiration in February 2009. Mike Catalano from Studley is steering the search. 6/07
Weil & Company, a CPA firm in downtown Santa Monica, is exploring options in Santa Monica and West LA, with the help of Mike Catalano from Studley. 6/07
IHOP, the breakfast restaurant chain now based in Glendale, has been hopping around exploring options on the Westside for a 70k sf requirement with Steve Walbridge from Cushman & Wakefield as their broker. 6/07
Canyon Partners is said to have outgrown their Beverly Hills space and is now working with Mike Geller from First Property to find 65k sf. Rumor has it they are looking at space left behind by CAA and ICM. 6/07
LEK Consulting is in the market for between 17-20k sf of space in the Century City, Westwood or West LA submarkets. Mike Catalano from Studley is their tenant rep consultant. 6/07
Gursey Schneider is another professional firm on the list in the hunt for office space. Now located in a building at Santa Monica Blvd and Beverly Glen, it is being repped by Eric Olofson and Andrew MacDonald from Cushman & Wakefield in their search for 31k sf. 6/07
Adlink is another well-known Westside company that is now looking at space options in the 30k sf range with David Gordon and Jeff Cowan from Studley as the tenant rep agents. 6/07
A big entertainment name, Sony, is being repped by Cushman & Wakefield's Ness Hamaoui in its requirement for 80k sf. We hear they may be looking at the Symantec site at Corporate Point. 6/07
CBS Interactive, repped by Michael DeSantis from Cushman & Wakefield, is out touring properties that can deliver up to 60k sf of space. 6/07
Wells Fargo Bank, the stagecoach company, has a requirement on the Westside for 40k sf for their Foothill Group, now at the Water Garden, but we cannot say who the broker is at this point. 6/07
Thomson Company is looking in Westside markets like Culver City down to El Segundo in the South Bay for about 60k sf of space. Andrew McDonald from Cushman & Wakefield is the tenant rep. 6/07
Move.com is looking to move into around 30-35k sf somewhere along the coast, from Marina del Rey down to Manhattan Beach. They're being repped by the CB Richard Ellis team of Grafton Tanquary III and Clay Hammerstein. 6/07
First Federal Bank, now up in the very pricey area of downtown Santa Monica, is said to be looking at many different areas, including parts of the South Bay, for up to 200k sf of HQ space. Lyn Williams from Cushman & Wakefield is leading the charge on this sizable requirement. 6/07
Digital Domain is in the market for a new 120k - 150k sf domain. They are in Venice and are looking in the Playa Vista area now and are working with the brokerage team of Alan Aufhammer, Mike McRoskey and Sean Westgate from Staubach Company. 6/07
Imagine Films, in Beverly Hills now, is rumored to be touring spaces that can provide 20k sf of contiguous space. They are working with Craig Jablin and Mark Robinson from Studley. 6/07
MitraTech, Inc. is looking in the Miracle Mile submarket for 25k sf with Sean Westgate and Dan O'Neil of Staubach Company as the tenant reps.6/07
EMAK Worldwide is in the market for space in either Downtown LA or West LA for 30-35k sf with the tenant rep assistance of Alan Aufhammer, Dan O'Neil, Sean Westgate from Staubach.
Wasserman Media Group is now at 12100 Olympic Blvd, at Bundy, and is looking for 90-100k sf from Santa Monica to Beverly Hills. They are repped by Whitley Collins, Tony Morales and Sean Westgate from Staubach. 6/07
The NARAS (National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences) is looking for 60k sf with Mark Robinson from Studley. 6/07
Trailer Park/Creative Domain is working with Frank Buckley and Chris Bonbright from Ramsey-Shilling in their search for 70-80k sf in Hollywood/Miracle Mile. 6/07
Product Partners is looking for 40-50k on the Westside and Santa Monica, in particular. Tom Turley and Sean Westgate from Staubach are leading the search. 6/07
Katz Communications, now at 6500 Wilshire Blvd, at San Vicente Blvd, is in the market for 30-40k with John Winnek from Cushman & Wakefield, although we did hear they were close to renewing. 6/07
ARES Management in Century City is said to be out for 90k sf and may be looking at 2000 Avenue of the Stars. 6/07
New Image/First Look is a group looking for 60k sf of space in Miracle Mile with Michael Freiberg from First Property handling the tenant rep duties. 6/07
McGraw Hill is working with Nick Christensen from CB Richard Ellis to find 50k sf. 6/07
Deutsche Bank, the large international financial firm that also owns RREEF, is looking at 40k sf options for space in Century City. Repping the bank is Peter Best from Jones Lang LaSalle. 6/07
A group called Summit Entertainment is being repped by Willa McNamara from Beitler in their quest for 30k sf of space. Rumors abound they are focused on Maguire's Revolution building in eastern Santa Monica. 6/07
Current TV, the media venture backed by Al Gore and CBS honcho Les Moonves, is repped by Westside CB Richard Ellis veteran Jeff Pion in the search for a 30k sf home in West LA. 6/07
A division of ad giant Omincom called Creative Channel is said to be in need of 25k sf and is looking at some space in the Marina del Rey submarket with Nathan Piehl from Equis playing point as tenant rep. 6/07
The Monitor Group, now at 100 Wilshire Blvd, the pricey high-rise in Santa Monica on Ocean is analyzing options for its 20k sf requirement when their lease is up in early 2008. Word on the street is they were seen touring space at 2700 Colorado down at Yahoo Center. David Gordon from Studley is their agent. 6/07
CityView, Henry Cisneros' new real estate company, is working with brokers at the Stone Company to find 17k sf of office space in Santa Monica or on the Westside. 6/07
Teleflip is being repped by Howard Reback from Bailes & Associates to locate and negotiate for 17k sf of space in West LA. 6/07
And lastly, we recently had heard that Ruben Postaer, the big Santa Monica-based ad firm advised by Randy Starr, which had been interviewing brokers to work with Starr in its upcoming 150k sf requirement, has recently hired Mark Sullivan from Studley. 6/07
