Lincoln Property Company has acquired AMP&RSAND, a two-building, 343.2k sf creative office property in Mission Valley, for $92 mil ($268/sf). The property, located at 350 Camino De La Reina, east of Hwy 163 and just north of I-8, was sold by CIM Group.
Originally the home of the San Diego Union-Tribune for over 40 years, the 13-acre site has been renovated into a modern, Class A creative office campus. The property includes one building of five stories and the other containing three floors. A 65-foot steel pedestrian bridge connects the buildings. It also features state-of-the-art amenities, including a fitness center, café, large outdoor patios, and flexible conferencing spaces.
Located immediately off Interstate 8 near Interstate 5 and State Route 163, AMP&RSAND provides convenient access and connectivity to San Diego’s thriving economic drivers, workforce and executive housing.
CBRE's Matt Carlson and Hunter Rowe facilitated the sale, while Scott Peterson, Michael Kolcum and Colby Matzke from CBRE's Debt & Structured Finance practice secured financing.
"AMP&RSAND is an example of how historic assets can be reimagined to meet the evolving demands of today's workforce," said Carlson. "It’s blend of architectural character and modern amenities creates a truly differentiated office experience in the San Diego market."
