Construction of Jamul Casino Resort in San Diego County has been completed. Built by C.W. Driver Companies, the new 16-story, 254k sf hotel tower is situated within the historic Jamul tribal community, next to the existing casino.
The hotel, located at 14191 Highway 94, was built to seamlessly integrate with the nearby casino. The project includes a climate-controlled, enclosed pedestrian sky bridge to help guests travel freely from one place to another.
Jamul Casino Resort was also constructed to provide an array of hospitality options and amenities for guests. The 200-key hotel comprises 148 standard guest rooms and 52 suites, providing ample options for parties of different sizes.
The resort enhances relaxation through an 11k sf rooftop pool deck with a jetted hot tub, cabanas, and rooftop bar. The hotel also has a 4.8k sf restaurant, retail space, full-service spa and salon with outdoor deck, fitness center, meeting and banquet facilities, along with an adjacent 119.6k sf parking structure with 257 spots (31 allocated for electric vehicles).
The development of the hotel required careful coordination and planning. Prior to construction, the existing Tribal administration modular building was relocated, and the Community Center was demolished to make way for the hotel.
Partners on the project include JCJ Architecture, KPFF Consulting Engineers, G2 Consulting Engineers, Reigstad Engineering, Terp Consulting, RJS + Associates, John Levy Lighting Productions, The Ruzika Company, M. Malia & Associates, Weston & Sampson Aquatics and Summit Project Management.
