Brokerage & Logistics Solutions Inc has leased the 119k sf Building 2 within Sanyo Logistics Center, at 9350 Airway Rd in Otay Mesa. We’re told this is the largest new lease completed in size and deal value in the last 12 months in San Diego’s South County.
The property, owned and operated by an affiliate of Badiee Development, is part of a two-building, Class A corporate facility and industrial center located at 2080 Sanyo Ave and 9350 Airway Rd. The campus totals 243k sf of space.
Situated directly off SR 905 and Otay Mesa Rd, Building 2 features 22 dock positions, two grade-level doors, a 32’ clearance height, 60’ speed bays, office space totaling 2.5k sf, ESFR sprinklers, and an all-concrete truck court. In addition to proximity to the Otay Mesa Port of Entry and the future site of Otay Mesa’s East Port of Entry, the property’s corporate neighbors include Amazon, FedEx, Costco, Panasonic, and more.
Mark Lewkowitz, Chris Holder and Will Holder with Colliers represented the landlord in the deal. Jeff Saywitz and Michael Mossmer of VOIT Real Estate Services repped Brokerage & Logistics Solutions, a well-established organization that has been operating in Otay Mesa for over 20 years. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
