A 6.3k sf, Class A medical office building in Carlsbad sold for $4.7 mil, or $746/sf, in a deal we’re told set a new price-per-square-foot high-water mark for medical/office buildings in North County San Diego in the 5k sf – 40k sf range.
The building, which completed construction in 2007, is located at 2010 Cassia Rd, at the signalized intersection of Cassia and El Camino Real. Surrounded by North County’s affluent communities of Carlsbad, Encinitas, Vista, and San Marcos, the building sits minutes away from Bressi Ranch Village, a 116.4k sf retail/office center that is home to a unique blend of shops, services, restaurants, and eateries.
