Jen-Weld signed a long-term lease valued at $11.3 mil for a 103k sf, single-tenant industrial building in Vista. The property, located at 2633 Progress St, is owned by Wilco Investments LLC.
Built in 2010, the facility features 6k sf of office space (6%), eight dock-high doors, six grade-level doors, and 97k sf of warehouse space with 26’ clear height. Jen-Weld, one of the world’s largest door and window manufacturers, plans to utilize the facility for manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution purposes.
Isaac Little and Marko Dragovic with Lee & Associates – North San Diego County represented the ownership in the deal. The tenant was repped by by Joe Anderson of Jones Lang La Salle.
“Over the past year, we have seen a tremendous uptick in tenant demand for larger blocks of low finish industrial space across San Diego County. We were able to secure a high-quality tenant quickly because the building’s unique features matched with the current tenant demand in the North County submarket,” said Little.
