Two San Diego-area R&D buildings totaling 12.6k sf of space traded in separate deals worth a total of $3.5 mil, or $278/sf. The properties are located at 5820 Oberlin Dr, east of I-805 and just south of Mira Mesa Blvd in the Sorrento Valley area.
Both properties were acquired by local, San Diego buyers. One of the buildings was purchased by Avenir Immobilier Inc and will be used as a lab. Avenir was represented by Todd Holley of Voit Real Estate Services. The other building was acquired by A & C Management LLC, who intends to use it for biotech purposes. They were repped by Holley and colleague Cale Berg.
Chris Duncan, also with Voit, represented the seller in both transactions.
