California Western School of Law has acquired a 15k sf development parcel in downtown San Diego for $5.6 mil ($373/sf). The property is located at the corner of 2nd Ave and Cedar St. It is adjacent to California Western’s current Downtown campus and will allow for future, contiguous expansion of classrooms and office space.
Victor Krebs of Colliers International represented the seller, Central Auto Parks LLC.
“This property is located between three of California Western’s existing buildings, which created a unique opportunity to secure future expansion capabilities and provide additional parking in the interim,” said Krebs. “The property was a timely acquisition by California Western as it had been owned by the same private family since the 1960’s.”
