A 7.3k sf, free-standing retail building in the San Diego submarket of Santee has sold for $4.7 mil ($644/sf). The property is located at 130 Town Center Pkwy, north of Hwy 52 and west of Cuyamaca St.
The building has two tenants—Rubio’s Coastal Grill and Eyeglass World. Other notable occupants in the shopping center include Denny’s, Subway and Cole’s fine flooring.
The seller, Christopher Coseo, a local San Diego investor, was represented by CBRE’s Reg Kobzi and Joel Wilson. The buyer, Big 7 Motel LTD, was repped by CBRE’s Tim Mills.
“This was an attractive investment because both tenants have more than ten years remaining on their lease,” noted Kobzi. “The center is in proximity to many big box retailers with high traffic counts.”
