A free-standing, single-tenant in La Jolla sold for $6.8 mil, or around $670/sf. The 10.1k sf building, on just over half an acre at 720 Silver St, was purchased by EHOF La Jolla LLC, William A. Berwin and Michael K. Pierson.
The property, situated in the heart of affluent La Jolla and just minutes to the La Jolla coastline, has been fully leased since 1999. The building is walking distance from the Prospect Street business district, which features high-end hotels, boutiques, galleries and award-winning fine dining restaurants.
Trenton Bonner of Trenton Bonner Coastal Real Estate represented the buyers, who intend to tear down the building and redevelop the site with townhomes. Paul Lafrenz, Melissa Foster, Reg Kobzi and Brad Chelf, out of CBRE’s Beverly Hills office, represented the seller in the deal.
