Daytona Holding LLC, a locally owned manufacturing company, purchased a 49.5k sf industrial building in Santa Ana for $13.2 mil, or $267/sf. Daytona will use the property, located at 2249 S. Yale St, as an auxiliary facility for their Southern California operations.
Michael Hefner, SIOR and Mike Vernick, SIOR, CCIM of Voit Real Estate Services represented both parties in the transaction. According to Hefner, the property presented many marketing challenges, including a flag lot access, low clearance, limited truck loading and deteriorating demand. However, in marketing the property, the Voit team emphasized the building’s recent renovations, secured lot, and central location orange county location.
