Peak Logistics and Fulfillment LLC, based out of Los Alamitos, inked a $15.8 mil lease of a 117.8k sf industrial property within the 284-acre Golden Springs Business Center in Santa Fe Springs. The company plans to use this property to operate its distribution business.
The property is located at 12821 Carmenita Rd, east of I-5 and just south of Imperial Hwy. It features 32-foot clear height, 25 loading doors, 142-foot concrete truck court, and direct freeway access.
Mike Bouma, SIOR, Sebastian Lozano and Loren Cargile with Voit Real Estate Services represented the tenant in the deal. The landlord, Golden Springs Development Company LLC, based out of Santa Fe Springs, was repped by the Colliers brokerage team of Clyde Stauff and Jace Gan.
According to Lozano, Peak’s objective was to strategically consolidate three separate facilities into a single, larger, Class A distribution and logistics space. They evaluated more than 30 options from the LA South Bay to the Mid Counties markets before choosing this property.
