NewMark Merrill South LLC has acquired a one-acre parcel located at the northeast corner of Business Park Dr and Poinsettia Ave in the San Diego County city of Vista. NewMark Merrill South is the San Diego division of retail shopping center owner and development company NewMark Merrill Companies.
The site will be used for development of a new Quick Quack Car Wash, one of the fastest-growing express car wash brands in the Western United States. Quick Quack has leased the site and is scheduled to open its new car wash in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Strategically positioned within Vista’s established business park district, the property benefits from robust traffic patterns, a dense mix of commercial and light industrial users, and close proximity to major transportation corridors. Quick Quack’s entry into this location reinforces both the strength of the brand and the vitality of the Vista submarket.
Construction is being managed by CM Corp and Eleven Western Construction. NewMark Merrill’s acquisition, development, financing, and leasing teams for the project included John Hickman — Managing Director (San Diego), Barret Bradley — Vice President of Acquisitions and Development, Robert Mendoza — Director of Development & Construction, and Sandra Kist — Chief Financial Officer.
