Phase One of Rose Hill Courts, an 89-unit affordable housing project in northeast Los Angeles, has been completed. The LEED-certified project, located at 4466 E. Florizel St, is being built by R.D. Olson Construction on behalf of the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) and their development partner, Related California.
Featuring architecture by BSB Design, the project consists of two new buildings on 5.24 acres, more than double the previous number of apartments at the original 1942 public housing complex that was replaced.
Amenities at Rose Hill Courts include an on-site administrative office, community library, laundry room, community room with kitchen for events, garden courtyard with fixed exercise equipment, and playground. The development offers secure indoor bike storage for up to 80 bicycles, and 90 ground-level parking spaces.
