The new 54k sf, California Community Foundation (CCF) HQ facility is now open. Designed by SRK Architects Inc, the renovation project entailed both an interior and exterior redesign of the four-story building, located at 717 West Temple St, across from the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and DWP Headquarters in downtown Los Angeles.
The project features adaptive reuse of the entire ground floor and patio for conference use, new corporate offices on the 4th and 5th floors, state-of-the-art meeting and convening spaces, stylish galleries and common areas, high-tech workstations, and a welcoming outdoor terrace to relax and socialize. A new kitchen serves the conference center and CCF staff.
SRK refreshed the exterior with a new color palette, signage, graphics, and lighting that looks to the future and honors CCF’s commitment to Los Angeles.
CCF’s mission is to lead positive systemic change that strengthens Los Angeles communities by envisioning a future where all Angelenos have the opportunity to contribute to the productivity, health and well-being of the region. SRK worked directly with CCF President and CEO Antonia Hernández and The Honorable Gloria Molina, who joined the CCF Board becoming the chair in 2021.
