Harbinger Motors Inc leased a 165.2k sf, state-of-the-art manufacturing and distribution facility in Garden Grove. The company will use the building, located at 12821 Knott St, to manufacture state-of-the-art electric light and medium-duty delivery vehicles.
Harbinger Motors will custom design the vehicles to customers’ specifications, offering a unique proprietary chassis and platform ideally suited for suburban delivery vehicles. To accommodate the company’s growing business needs, the building will undergo an extensive upfit, including approximately 40k sf of office and engineering space. Harbinger Motors was previously located in Gardena.
Clyde Stauff and Jace Gan with Colliers represented the landlord, Rexford Industrial Realty. Rexford acquired the Knott Street property in 2019 and added significant improvements, including a 45.2k sf high-bay expansion area and 20k sf of high-finish office space. According to Stauff, Harbinger will employ over 160 people in technical, design, and engineering jobs, bolstering the growing market’s economy and labor pool.
