Jim Kruse has been appointed Director of Brokerage at NAI Capital Commercial for its 13 offices across Southern California. Based out of the West Los Angeles office, Kruse will focus on developing an industry-leading brokerage training program and spearheading recruitment initiatives across the region in this role. His efforts will ensure NAI Capital Commercial continues to attract top-tier talent and strengthen its position in the competitive Southern California commercial real estate market.
Kruse joins NAI Capital Commercial from Kidder Mathews, where he served as Regional President of Brokerage for the firm’s Los Angeles offices, playing a key role in its Southern California expansion. Prior to Kidder Mathews, he was CEO of LA-based investor/developer DPI Retail.
A lifelong Los Angeles resident, Kruse’s achievements extend beyond real estate. A former All-American water polo player in college, he was inducted into the University of California, Irvine Hall of Fame. He competed with the U.S. National and Olympic water polo teams for seven years and later served as an Olympic water polo commentator for NBC and ABC Sports across five Olympic Games.
