West Covina-based TailoredSpace has begun construction on its latest coworking location in San Juan Capistrano. When the new campus opens in September 2023, it will be the first fully amenitized coworking operation in the city. This lack of supply in San Juan Capistrano has resulted in significant pre-leasing activity for the campus.
“While we have seen an increase in the number of people working from home, there are still shortcomings with that choice for many professionals who need another option for privacy, collaboration, and a professional environment,” commented TailoredSpace Co-Founder Drew Sanden. “It’s why TailoredSpace’s suburban campuses have been so popular with an average 90% occupancy across its Southern California coworking spaces. These locations have attracted predominantly service-based companies with approximately 80% of our members living within a five-mile radius.”
TailoredSpace operates seven coworking spaces throughout Southern California. The new center, located at 27131 Calle Arroyo #1722, is 14k sf, typical for a TailoredSpace campus. Unlike the large coworking brands that have fixated primarily on urban markets, TailoredSpace has expanded in suburban communities with high per-capita income, easy freeway access, and walkable retail amenities.
TailoredSpace’s campuses provide space from coworking desks to dedicated offices and micro-suites. Every membership is fully furnished and offered on a month-to-month basis, centered around coworking and communal spaces such as lounges, kitchens, conference rooms, and outside seating which creates collaborative and community driven work environments.
