In a notable L.A.-area industrial lease, Scenic Expressions inked a deal for a 299.2k sf space at Saugus Station Industrial Center, a 69.5-acre, 975.3k sf property located 25530-25765 Springbrook Ave in Santa Clarita. Scenic Expressions, a provider of sets, storage and transportation for the film and television industry, will use the space for storage of its sets and props.
“We wanted a building that could accommodate the storage of large sets and that was close to Santa Clarita’s film studios,” said Mark Larinto, owner of Scenic Expressions. “This facility allows us to have a large presence in the Santa Clarita Valley for years to come with room to grow.”
JLL’s Brent Weirick represented Scenic Expressions in the lease. The landlord, COV-Saugus B LLC, was repped by Craig Peters of CBRE. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to JLL’s Q3 Los Angeles Industrial Insights report, the San Fernando Valley industrial market vacancy sits at .8% with only 415.8k sf under construction.
