Renaissance Marketplace, a new, 500k sf retail center in Rialto, was completed last year by Lewis Retail Centers. It is located at 1309 West Renaissance Pkwy, west of Ayala Dr and adjacent to the south side of the 210 Fwy.
The development, built by general contactor Lyle Parks, was designed by LA-based Nadel Architecture + Planning. Nadel provided complete architectural services for the project, including designing inviting outdoor living room areas that serve as a gathering place for locals and visitors to the City of Rialto to meet, relax, and spend their discretionary time.
“This ground-up retail development is truly revolutionary for the Rialto community from both a site planning and placemaking perspective,” says Greg Lyon, principal and design director for Nadel Architecture + Planning. “The center is unique in that it is not anchored by one large tenant and instead comprises a wide array of in-demand uses, challenging our team to deliver cohesion and walkability throughout this expansive, 50-acre site.”
Employing the use of stone and a warm palette for a contemporary yet rustic feel, Nadel worked closely with the entire development team to deliver a cohesive, pedestrian-friendly shopping and dining experience in a cost-effective manner.
Renaissance Marketplace features a luxury Cinemark movie theater, as well as a broad range of dining options including Septembers Tap Room & Eatery, The Habit, Panera Bread, Miguel’s Jr., Jamba Juice, Chick-fil-A, Chop Stop, Panda Garden, Starbucks, and more. Retail offerings at the center include diverse brands such as Bath & Body Works, Mattress Firm, Sprint, T-Mobile, Sherwin Williams, Burlington, Famous Footwear and 7-Eleven.
The retail center also features a Grocery Outlet supermarket, See’s Candies, a credit union, SuperCuts salon, and fitness studio. Plans for future additional uses at Renaissance Marketplace include hospitality, medical and wellness, and office.
