Los Angeles-based sports bar 33 Taps has leased 7.9k sf of space on the ground floor of the recently opened Moxy/AC Hotels development in downtown Los Angeles. The 727-key hotel project is located at 1240 S. Figueroa St, across from Crypto.com Arena and the LA Convention Center, in DTLA’s South Park neighborhood.
The property is owned by The Lightstone Group, which completed construction on the Moxy and AC Hotels – both situated in a new high-rise tower - in April. In addition to being within easy walking distance of the area’s entertainment and cultural venues, the site is adjacent to the Expo Line Pico Station, making the project easily accessible by foot for those attending live sporting events and concerts, as well as daytime workers commuting by train.
33 Taps will complement the project’s existing dining and entertainment options which include Level 8, a multi-venue rooftop culinary and bar experience by nightlife experts Houston Hospitality. With current locations in Silver Lake and Culver City, the Moxy/AC Hotels location will be 33 Taps third outpost, offering customers craft beer, a fresh food menu with vegan options, full bar, and plenty of screens for watching sports.
Lee Shapiro and Justin Weiss with Kennedy Wilson represented the landlord in the transaction. Terms of the deal were not given out.
