CBRE has acquired Beezley Management (Beezley), a construction management and project advisory services firm based in the Los Angeles area. Beezley serves clients throughout the greater Los Angeles area and nationally and has a strong reputation as an owner’s representative, construction manager and project advisor. Its clients include education and healthcare institutions, sports and entertainment facilities and companies in the energy and technology sectors, among others.
“This acquisition further strengthens our project consulting and management expertise and capabilities in Southern California,” said Sean Conry, Senior Managing Director of project management for CBRE. “Beezley’s reputation and experience as an owner’s representative, and their strong leadership team, are a great complement to our existing project management capabilities.”
Jonathan Levy, Beezley’s principal and founder, will take on a senior leadership role with CBRE’s project management business in the Pacific Southwest. Beezley’s professionals will join CBRE’s project management team and will collaborate closely with the firm’s local market advisory project management teams across the U.S. and its professionals who execute account-based project management programs through its occupier outsourcing business, Global Workplace Solutions.
Founded in 1997, Beezley has 25 employees based in Calabasas, California, and the firm’s expertise spans all areas of project management, including construction management, architecture and engineering, facilities operations and maintenance, and planning and development.
CBRE maintains the largest network of professional commercial real estate project managers worldwide. Its more than 8,000 specialists, including 350+ LEED-certified professionals, oversaw projects with a total contract value of more than $124 billion worldwide in 2019.
