San Bernardino County to Hold Its Annual State of the County and Making An Impact Business Forum on April 6

2/03/16

On April 6, 2016, more than 1,000 business professionals, government leaders and community stakeholders will join together to hear the annual State of the County event, titled “Making An Impact.”

In addition to the main program presentation, this year’s event includes a business leader’s roundtable featuring a number of regional experts. These industry leaders will share their perspective on what factors are making an impact in the County as well as provide real take away value in terms of how business can get involved and the programs that exist to increase business prosperity.

Roundtable participants include: Joel Kotkin, futurist/author/economist; Christopher Gopal, senior fellow, Drucker School of Management and executive director, Drucker School Center for Supply Chain and Logistics; David Hemmings, president, PRA Global; James Watson, president and CEO of California Manufacturing Technology Consulting (CMTC); Darla Longo, vice president, CBRE; Henry D. Shannon, Ph.D., superintendent and president of Chaffey Community College District.

The State of the County program presentation will also provide updates on public/private collaboration, strong government leadership and ways in which businesses can tap into economic investment and growth opportunities in the region. Another valuable aspect of the event will be the opportunity to network with business leaders and industry peers as well as hear from and talk with San Bernardino County’s Board of Supervisors.

The event will be held at the Citizens Business Bank Arena located at 4000 E Ontario Center Pkwy in Ontario starting at 4:30 pm. For information about tickets and sponsorship, click HERE.
