Izzy Eichenstein - CBRE Group Inc. announced today that Izzy Eichenstein has joined CBRE Group Inc as Vice President. Based in the El Segundo office, Eichenstein will focus on industrial investment, serving private client investors throughout Los Angeles. Prior to CBRE, Eichenstein was the president and owner of the Oakstone Company, a developer of industrial properties primarily located adjacent to Los Angeles International Airport. Eichenstein founded the company in 1988 and handled several million square feet of transactions over more than two decades, including the recent redevelopment of Bellanca Avenue into Car Rental Row, with FlightCar and Silver Car.
Clint Copulos - Clint Copulos has been promoted to vice president of asset management at OC-based KBS Realty Advisors, for the Portland, Oregon and Sacramento, California markets. In this capacity, Copulos will be responsible for the management of numerous KBS properties, in addition to acquisition and disposition activities in those markets. Copulos oversees a portfolio of approximately 1 msf of office space. Copulos has been at KBS since 2013. He moves to his new role having previously served at KBS as an investment analyst and investment associate for the asset management department, where he was responsible for maximizing the value of assets for 6 msf throughout the Western United states.
Bob Savage - Bob Savage has joined the Portland office of CBRE as a Senior Vice President. He will be focusing on leasing and sales in the retail sector. Savage comes (back) to CBRE with over 20 years of real estate experience. This is his second tour of duty. He began his real estate career as a broker specializing in industrial properties at the CBRE Portland office in the early 1990’s after graduating from the University of Oregon. Before returning to CBRE, Savage worked in the business of developing multi-family properties in Eastern Oregon.
Philip G. Pipal - Philip G. Pipal, LEED AP, has joined Taylor Design as Project Director in its Irvine office. Pipal will be instrumental in leading further expansion into education, science and technology markets for the firm, focusing on new business development and client service. Pipal brings 34 years of experience to his role having completed the design and delivery of laboratory, R&D facilities, and a wide variety of higher education facilities for institutions such as UCI, UCSD, SDSU, Claremont Graduate University and the Los Angeles Community College District, as well as corporations such as Amgen and Clarient. Pipal recently served as senior project manager with Carrier Johnson + Culture in Orange County, where he focused on higher education facilities and the design-build delivery process. His experience also includes the role of senior project manager with Carlson Design Construct and project manager and laboratory planner with Erhlich–Rominger.
Tony Morales - Tony Morales has been named brokerage lead in the Los Angeles region for JLL. In this expanded role, Morales, a 25-year industry veteran, will set the strategic direction for the brokerage business and oversee a team of approximately 80 brokers across six offices. As a player-coach role, he will also drive recruiting efforts and direct pursuit strategies for new business opportunities. In addition to serving as brokerage lead, Morales will continue in his role as JLL Los Angeles' managing director specializing in advising clients on their office needs. Throughout his career, he has worked with several high profile companies including Yahoo! Inc., DIRECTV, Boston Consulting Group, Electronic Arts, William Morris Endeavor and Morrison & Foerster to name a few.
