R. Todd Doney has been named the top producer of 2014 in Downtown Los Angeles for CBRE. Doney also ranked in the top 250 of all CBRE professionals in the Americas, of which there are approximately 3,000 professionals. Throughout the year, Doney completed 106 transactions totaling 3.61 msf with a total value of $623.8 mil. Some of his biggest transactions this year are the 590.2k sf KPMG sale in Downtown Los Angeles and the 60.8k sf Tetra Tech office lease in Pasadena.
Doney has been in the top producer group of the West year after year during his more than 30-year career. In fact, every year since joining CBRE, Doney has been awarded the Colbert Coldwell Circle Award for being among the top 3% of producers in the United States. He has represented such major institutional tenants as The Walt Disney Company, Nestle, Wells Fargo Bank, KPMG, GE/NBC, AT&T, Southern California Edison, AECOM, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Cigna, Northern Trust, and BP.
Doney’s ongoing activity includes considerable community involvement and philanthropic efforts. He was on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and chaired the Board Development Committee of the San Gabriel Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America. In 2008, he was awarded the Silver Beaver Award, the highest Boy Scout honor given to leaders who have made an impact on the lives of youth through service given to the Council.
Doney is also on the Advisory Board and Development Committee for the Hathaway-Sycamores; is on the Board of the Metropolitan YMCA as well as the Physical Resources Committee of Loyola High School; and served on the Development Committee and Chairman of the Board Affairs Committee of the Board of Directors of the Mayfield Junior School in Pasadena. Doney is also a member of the downtown Los Angeles Town Hall, CoreNet, the Urban Land Institute, Southern California Development Forum, World Affairs Council, and the Los Angeles Commercial Real Estate Association.
