Joan Maxwell has been hired by PM Realty Group as Senior Vice President, as part of the firm’s move to bring property management services in-house for its multi-family division. Maxwell, a 30-year industry veteran, will work with PMRG Executive Vice President Bryant Nail to expand the company’s business in key markets through the United States.
PMRG will oversee management of the firm's current multi-family developments including: 1400 Hi Line, a 23-story, 314-unit luxury high rise building in Dallas' Design District; 2929 Weslayan, a 40-story luxury high-rise community with 254 units in Houston; and a 34-story luxury high-rise with 288 units in Denver that breaks ground in the fourth quarter.
“The decision for us to bring property management services in-house was a natural progression," said Nail. "This move allows us to better align the interests of our management team with that of our investors and bring our expertise to a broader audience. We see multi-family management as a major component in allowing us to continually increase the level of service we offer our investors and clients.”
PMRG currently operates in 20 markets and manages and leases more than 130 msf of office, industrial, R&D, manufacturing, retail and special-use space.
Prior to joining PMRG, Maxwell served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Omnium Management Company for 10 years. Prior to that, she worked as Regional Vice President for Pace Realty Corporation. Maxwell is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Real Estate Financial Executives Association, and is a licensed broker with the Texas Real Estate Commission.
