Burggraf Family Trust purchased a 16.4k sf, neighborhood retail property in Santee in a $3.7 mil ($225/sf) deal. The property sits on 1.1 acres at 8781 Cuyamaca St and 9822 Buena Vista Ave, just north of Hwy 52.
The property is at a high-visibility, signalized intersection along Cuyamaca St, a major commercial corridor with strong daily traffic. At the time of sale, the property was approximately 90% occupied and featured a diverse mix of neighborhood-serving tenants.
The property is located within the Santee trade area of San Diego County, an established suburban market characterized by strong household incomes, steady population growth and continued demand for neighborhood retail services. It is positioned near a concentration of regional and national retailers, as well as the newly opened Sharp medical campus across the street.
CBRE’s Reg Kobzi, Michael Peterson and Lane Robertson represented the seller, affiliates of Calbay Development, in the transaction. The buyer was repped by William Strocco Jr. of St. Rocco Properties Inc.
