NewMark Merrill Companies’ Piazza Carmel retail center and the firm’s Senior Marketing Director, Cynthia Gonzalez, have been honored with a 2025 Global MAXI Award for Outstanding Marketing Excellence by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) during its annual conference held in Las Vegas. The Global MAXI Awards celebrate innovation and effectiveness in marketing within the retail and placemaking industry, drawing submissions from both domestic and international entries.
NewMark Merrill received the Silver MAXI Award for the Bollywood Indian Cultural Celebration held at Piazza Carmel, located at 3810 Valley Centre Drive in San Diego. The event exemplified community inclusivity and cultural appreciation by honoring the areas vibrant Indian community while introducing broader audiences to traditional Indian music, dance, food, and customs in an engaging, educational environment.
