Mesa College Square, a 25.4k sf multi-tenant retail center in San Diego, traded in a $10.5 mil ($413/sf) transaction. The property is located at 7604-7608 and 7612 Linda Vista Rd.
The center sits on the highly trafficked corner of Mesa College Dr and Linda Vista Rd, with ample visibility near a high-density residential neighborhood. Most notable among the center’s tenants are locally beloved K Sandwiches, a family-owned Vietnamese restaurant that has become a San Diego institution over its nearly 20 years in business.
Colliers’ Marc Posthumus and Evan McDonald represented the buyer, San Diego based CEG Capital Partners. Posthumus and McDonald, with Big Block Realty’s Byram Frost, also repped the sellers, M.C. Square LLC, and AFJR Partnership, LP. Robert Shaw and Cameron Aldrich of Chicago Title Company provided escrow and title services.
CEG’s recent acquisition indicates the first time the property has sold since its original construction in 1980, and the group has plans to rebrand the center as Kearny Square.
