CBRE has been awarded the property management and leasing assignment for Imperial Valley Mall, a 761.3k sf retail shopping center in El Centro, CA. The new owners also acquired 65 acres of adjacent developable land through an affiliate.
The asset, located at 3451 South Dogwood Rd, was just acquired by a venture of Tryperion Holdings, Peak Financial Partners and Duke Real Estate in February 2025. Located south of Interstate 8, the mall opened in 2005 and is anchored by large national chains, including Dillard’s, JCPenney, Macy’s and Cinemark.
The new ownership group intends to improve both the physical infrastructure of the mall and invest in facility operations, creating new programs that encourage visitors of all ages to shop, dine, and gather in the community space. This includes bringing in a mix of retailers and restaurants that reflect the needs and preferences of the community from both sides of the border.
CBRE’s Joe Yetter and John Stevens of CBRE will oversee the leasing duties on behalf of the current ownership.
