New Bellevue, WA Res Project to Break Ground in Fall 2016


Work will get started this fall on Crossroads Village, a mixed-use, urbanized suburban development with 176 single family townhomes and approximately 15.6k sf of retail space in Bellevue, WA. The project, a development of Resmark Land and Housing and Polygon Northwest, is located at 15751 N.E. 15th St, a few blocks southeast of Overlake Fashion Plaza and State Hwy 520.

The homes at Crossroad Village will range in size from 840 sf to 2.3k sf, in two- and three-bedroom plans, including some homes with rooftop decks. The attached homes will be available as single-level flats and a mix of three- and four-level townhomes with one- and two-car parking garages.

”We are pleased to revitalize this former supermarket site with a vibrant walkable community that is close to shopping, employment, entertainment and schools,” said Michael Zarola, Senior Vice President, Investments, Resmark Land and Housing. “Further, we will have ample public connections throughout the community with a wide pedestrian promenade from the south edge of the site to Crossroads Park and an exciting line-up of shops and convenient retail along a Main Street to connect with the recently renovated Crossroads Mall.”

The ground level retail space will be built below five townhouse buildings. The community will have common outdoor space including lounge and BBQ areas.

Crossroads Village is the seventh single-family community developed by Resmark in the Seattle area. Resmark Land and Housing is a division of The Resmark Companies, a private equity firm. Polygon Northwest is a division of William Lyon Homes.

Bellevue is well located close to many of the region’s major employers with direct access to all of the major employment centers in King County and Downtown Seattle as both Hwy 520 and I-405 are within one and three miles away, respectively. It also affords residents convenient access to open space and recreation opportunities throughout the county.

With construction starting this fall, sales are anticipated to begin late this year with first occupancies slated for spring 2017. Bellevue- and Seattle-based Baylis Architects is responsible for design of the community with Kirkland-based Milbrandt Architecture serving as production architect.
