Panattoni Development Company completed 10 major transactions throughout California during the second half of 2012. In all, the deals have a total consideration in excess of $46 mil.
According to Panattoni Partner Stephen Batcheller, the transactions consisted of nine leases and one sale involving more than 1.67 msf of space. With these deals, the occupancy level for Panattoni’s buildings in the region now stands at 97%.
The largest transaction was a build-to-suit for World Kitchen in Riverside. The tenant moved into a renovated 400k sf facility at 2325 Cottonwood Ave (pictured). A 236k sf addition to the property is currently being constructed. To accommodate World Kitchen, Panattoni relocated four tenants, freeing up 559k sf.
NAI Hiffman represented World Kitchen in the transaction, while Jones Lang LaSalle repped Panattoni.
Other significant leases in the region for Panattoni included:
• A 229.9k sf expansion/extension lease for Kawasaki in Ontario.
• A 175.4k sf lease for Magnussen Home Furnishings in Ontario.
• A 170.8k sf lease for Dean Warehousing, also in Ontario.
