A 185k sf mixed-use development in downtown Burlingame is now fully leased. Located at 220 Park Rd, the project, which includes 17k sf of retail and restaurant space, is now home to SkyKnight Capital, Confluent (soon to be owned by IBM), Upstart Networks, and a leading global software and digital platform company. These tenants relocated from premier locations, including the San Francisco Presidio, San Mateo, Palo Alto, and Mountain View.
The project, located at 220 Park Rd, just off El Camino Real near Peninsula Ave, is a development of Dostart Development Company LLC and Sares Regis Group of Northern California. The award-winning development was designed by Korth Sunseri Hagey Architects and built by Devcon Construction.
Leasing was led by Ben Paul, Marc Pope, and Hailey Winnen of Cushman & Wakefield, along with Christian Prelle of Colliers.
The retail component, being leased by Kurt Grundman and Chris Homs at Lockehouse, further enhances the destination appeal. Later this year, the Bacchus Group will open The Old Post Office, a Michelin-level dining experience located in the restored 1940s U.S. Postal Office Gallery overlooking the City’s soon-to-open Town Square. The project also includes the KOHLER Signature Store of Burlingame and Sweetgreen. A 2.2k sf, fully built-out restaurant space with Type 1 venting remains available.
