Brick & Timber Collective has purchased a 110k sf, Class A office building in San Francisco. The property, located at 500 Washington, is in the heart of Jackson Square, the tightest submarket in downtown San Francisco.
Built in 1982, the building is situated on a high-identity corner location due to its proximity to an iconic San Francisco landmark, the Transamerica Pyramid. The building has abundant light and features four separate suites with outdoor terraces and stunning views of Coit Tower, The Transamerica Pyramid and Jackson Square.
Colliers Executive Vice Presidents Bob Gilley, Kevin Moul, Andy Zighelboim, Brad Idleman, Scott MacIntyre and Vice President Michaela Lalanne finalized the transaction on behalf of the seller, The Public Policy Institute of California. Peter Mugford, Megan Campbell and Alex Palmisano of Revise Group served as consultants to the seller in the deal.
Colliers’ research reports that San Francisco is on track to record its highest annual office leasing activity since 2019, as the year-to-date total has already surpassed the full-year totals of every year since the pandemic.
