Palmetto SuperFoods Inks Lease at New Building in San Francisco’s SouthPark Neighborhood

3/21/24

Palmetto Superfoods, a fast-healthy concept bridging Brazilian açaí and California vegan-focused superfoods, signed a five-year lease for 1k sf of space at 531 Bryant St in San Francisco’s South Park SoMa neighborhood. The transaction includes a five-year extension option. Palmetto is slated to open Q2’24.

The new building, developed and owned by Urban Land Development (ULD), contains 51.4k sf of space over five floors with a usable rooftop. The structure consists of 48.2k sf of office space over 3.2k sf of retail on the ground floor.

Palmetto Superfoods is a restaurant concept designed around quality and nutritious foods, extensive customization, and top-of-the-line service. The 531 Bryant location will be the 7th store in the Bay Area, including 3rd & Clement, Union Street, and Dolores Park in San Francisco; Primrose Road in Burlingame; Santana Row in San Jose; and Town & Country Village in Palo Alto – with eight more stores in the pipeline.

ULD’s 531 Bryant Street, located in the vibrant South Park SoMa neighborhood, redefines the office workstyle in the epicenter of tech and innovation -- in the midst of dozens of established companies including innovative “unicorn” companies such as Pinterest, Airbnb, Adobe, Splunk, Cruise, Lyft, and Paypal. It is a block from a cluster of venture capital companies, including Accel Partners, Norwest Venture Partners, and Kleiner Perkins.

Leasing at the property is led by Chris Roeder, John Norton, and Carlye Parker with JLL.
