Silergy Technology has leased 27.7k sf of Class A office/R&D space for its new larger corporate headquarters in Silicon Valley. Silergy, a semiconductor company, will occupy the entire top floor of the six-story building located at 2600 Great America Pkwy in the city of Santa Clara. The building is part of Irvine Company’s Santa Clara Gateway office project.
Silergy’s new Silicon Valley headquarters will feature both office and lab space to house its R&D operations and engineering talent as well as administrative functions. The company’s multi-faceted, multi-disciplinary operation will produce innovation across mega trends in several industries, including industrial, automotive, consumer, computing, cloud/datacenter and communication devices.
Alex Lagemann with Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant in the transaction. Silergy, which is expected to move into its new top floor space in April, is relocating and expanding from nearby Sunnyvale. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
With an annual growth rate of over 30% over the past 10 years, Silergy’s revenue has grown to approximately $800 mil in the most recent fiscal year.
