A joint venture between PCCP LLC and Hunter Properties has acquired the leasehold interest in three fully occupied retail buildings totaling 98k sf on 10 acres, as well as the fee simple interest of two acres of land in Sunnyvale.
The buildings are part of a 115k sf retail center located at 107 – 151 East El Camino Real, north of Fremont Ave between Hwy 85 and Lawrence Expwy. The land under the ground lease is owned by the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Jose.
The city of Sunnyvale may be interested in seeing the property redeveloped into a mixed-use project at some point as it is located in a prime location with significant frontage on a busy intersection of El Camino Real, a major thoroughfare.
Tenants within the center include Sports Authority, Office Depot, Ross, Payless Shoes, and others. Situated at the center of Sunnyvale along El Camino Real, the property is in a prime Silicon Valley infill location that continues to experience strong income and population growth.
