Velo3D has leased a 288.7k sf facility in Livermore, CA in a $55.8 mil transaction. Velo3D is a leader in metal additive manufacturing.
The property, located at 711 Challenger St, is Building 2 within OMP Oaks Business Park, a two-building state-of-the-art new advanced manufacturing/warehouse business center. With the completion of this lease, the business park is now fully occupied.
The building will serve as Velo3D’s primary production and manufacturing center and reflects the increasing customer demand to move beyond prototyping and qualification into production. The expansion will complement the company's Fremont headquarters and provide additional clear heights and capacity to better serve its customers.
Colliers Vice Chairman Greig Lagomarsino and Executive Vice Presidents Mike Lloyd, Nick Ousman, and John Steinbuch facilitated the lease on behalf of the landlords, OMP and Invesco Real Estate. Colliers has represented the landlords throughout the business park's entire cycle, including the 2018 40-acre land sale and the 2024 pre-leasing of the 471k sf Building 1 to Lam Research.
