Construction of the Evolve industrial campus in Carlsbad's Oaks North was recently completed. The project consists of three brand-new, state-of-the-art buildings located at 2750, 2762, and 2774 Whiptail Loop, just north of Faraday Ave between El Camino Real and Melrose Dr.
Evolve was designed by HED and built by TFW Construction. The project features glass windows on all four walls, a 28-foot clear height, glass roll-up doors, private outdoor lounge areas overlooking dedicated open space with expansive views toward the ocean, and provides a modern, flexible and creative environment in Carlsbad’s year-round temperate climate.
The Evolve campus incorporates advanced industrial infrastructure, including heavy electrical power, natural gas access, and dual sewer and chemical waste lines in every building, to attract high-performance industrial and life science operations.
Conor Boyle and Tyler Stemley of Cushman & Wakefield, along with CBRE's Ted Cuthbert and Cynthia Carter, are overseeing leasing on behalf of the owner, The Techbilt Companies. The team has already leased a 16.3k sf space at 2762 Whiptail Loop to a private tenant. Approximately 45.7k sf remain available for lease across the buildings at 2750 and 2774 Whiptail Loop.
"Evolve was designed to meet the changing needs of today's life science, clean manufacturing, and technology tenants," said Boyle. "Every space offers exceptional functionality and provides private indoor and outdoor work areas to all tenants."
Building on Evolve's success, The Techbilt Companies plan further development within Carlsbad Oaks North, including the 150k sf Endeavor, a distribution building, and the two-building Envision, an industrial and research and development project.
