High Street Residential and MetLife Investment Management to Build a 189-Unit Res Project in Scottsdale, AZ

7/30/25

High Street Residential has announced plans to build a three-story, 189-unit Class A multifamily development in Scottsdale, AZ. The project, Shea Residences, is being developed with JV partner MetLife Investment Management and is expected to break ground in September 2025 with completion slated for late 2027.

Shea Residences will entail redeveloping a portion of the Block 7000 commercial center, located at 7000 E. Shea Blvd. Positioned on 2.95 acres, the project will include studio, one-, and two-bedroom units with unit sizes ranging from 616 sf to 1.3k sf.

Units will feature luxury finishes and superior amenities such as premium cabinets, expansive kitchen islands with quartz countertops and islands, wine fridges, tile backsplashes, stainless steel and Energy Star-certified appliances, tiled shower and tub surrounds, and mountain views. Residents will also enjoy exceptionally well-designed community amenities, including a resort-style pool and spa, two open-air courtyards, fitness center with sauna and cold plunge, co-working lounge, pet spa, dog park, and a well-appointed club room.

Located in the heart of Central Scottsdale, occupants of Shea Residences will be within walking distance of dozens of retail and restaurant options. The project was well received by the city of Scottsdale, garnering a rare 7-0 vote for approval by the city council.

The project has been designed by ESG Architects, and Brinkmann Constructors will serve as the general contractor.
