Parallel and Kayne Anderson Real Estate have begun construction on a 500-unit, high-rise student housing project in College Station, TX. The project is being financed with a construction loan provided by BMO Bank N.A.
The development, located at 250 Church Ave, just north of the confluence of University Dr and Wellborn Rd, represents the third community Parallel has built to serve Texas A&M University. The project sits in the heart of College Station's Northgate district
Rising 23 stories above Northgate, the property will comprise 148 units across a mix of studio, one-, two-, three-, four-, and five-bedroom floor plans, including townhome-style residences, offering a total of 500 beds. The development broke ground recently and will be completed in the summer of 2027.
The project's development team includes Rhode Partners, A Royal Interiors, Mitchell & Morgan, RLG Consulting Engineers, and Roger's O'Brien, who is serving as the general contractor. Design Build partners include Power Design Inc and Kilgore Mechanical.
