A unique, master-planned mixed-use development site encompassing 22 acres in the heart of Oklahoma City (OKC) has been put on the market. Known as Strawberry Fields, the rare urban land offering presents a buyer with the opportunity to create a thoughtfully designed, vibrant, walkable, and sustainable community to meet OKC’s growing demand for high-quality housing, employment, and lifestyle amenities. The site has initially been envisioned to deliver over 700 residential units, premium office and retail space, next to expansive parks and open spaces.
Strawberry Fields is located adjacent and walkable to the 70-acre Scissortail Park, Myriad Botanical Gardens, Omni Hotel, Convention Center and the Oklahoma River & Boathouse District, providing direct access to the city’s premier recreational and green spaces. The revitalized Midtown and Bricktown districts further enhance the area’s urban living experience, offering a dynamic mix of dining, shopping, and entertainment including the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
The strategic location of Strawberry Fields at the edge of downtown OKC and positioned near I-40, I-44 and I-55 (with expansive frontage on I-40), Oklahoma City Train Station and Will Rogers World Airport, ensures exceptional convenience for residents, businesses, and investors. The area is supported by billions of dollars in metro-area investments and surrounded by a thriving cultural and entertainment scene and inspired by notable landmark developments like the Wheeler District in Oklahoma City, and One Rangers Way in Arlington, TX.
Oklahoma City has committed nearly $5 bil in quality-of-life investments over the last quarter-century. Included in that are uniquely successful initiatives around sports and entertainment The city has already funded and is planning a $1 bil new arena for the Thunder of the NBA, which is scheduled to open in 2028. Also nearby Strawberry Fields will be a new professional soccer stadium slated to start construction in 2025. Less than a mile away is the RIVERSPORT whitewater center that will host six events during the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
Matt Davis, Melanie Haynes, Kevin Nolen, Matthew Davis, Barry Murphy and Allan Meadors with Cushman & Wakefield are marketing the assembled 22-acre site for sale. The seller will consider selling the property in full or in part as smaller lots.
