Rockefeller Group has broken ground on Corsica Villas, two build-to-rent (BTR) communities totaling 152 townhomes in South Phoenix, the company’s first BTR communities in Arizona. Rockefeller Group has selected Mosaic, the nation’s leading BTR general contractor, as the general contractor to oversee all aspects of construction, including amenities, land development, and vertical construction for the Corsica Villas communities.
In June 2023, Rockefeller Group acquired two sites, approximately 1.75 miles apart, totaling 16.5 acres in Phoenix’s booming Baseline Road corridor. The two projects, Corsica Villas at 20th St and Corsica Villas at Euclid Ave & 7th St, will offer 152 luxury townhome and carriage-style units.
Each two-story unit spans between 1.1k sf and 1.5k sf and boasts unique features such as pet doors, private backyards, and impressive views of South Mountain Regional Park. Catering to the modern renter's desire for comfort and convenience, each unit features unparalleled privacy and convenient access to South Phoenix.
The 20th St location will feature 68 units with attached two-car garages in two- and three-bedroom floor plans, while the Euclid Ave & 7th St site will offer 84 units including two-bedroom carriage units with attached garages and three-bedroom townhomes. Both communities will offer a full suite of amenities to residents including a heated pool, hot tub, playgrounds, dog parks, and open spaces. The new light rail at nearby Central Ave and Baseline Rd is scheduled to open well before completion, projected for late 2025 or early 2026.
Mosaic’s national footprint encompasses 1,900+ BTR units under construction in Arizona and Texas, with additional communities planned in Florida.
