First Retail Tenants at New Hollywood Park Mixed-Use Campus Project Have Opened their Doors

11/14/23

Development of Hollywood Park, a nearly 300-acre, world-class sports and entertainment destination in the city of Inglewood being built by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke, is well underway. According to sources involved with the project, Hollywood Park is the largest urban mixed-use development under construction in the Western United States.

Hollywood Park’s first phase of retail development is comprised of 500k sf of anchors and shop spaces at the corner of Prairie Ave and Century Blvd, and is adjacent to 314 brand new residences at The Crosby and The Wesley. The Kennedy Wilson brokerage team includes Ed Sachse, Jack Nathan and Diane Brandes are handling the retail leasing for the project.

Hollywood Park’s retail opened in July 2023 with Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas’ 12-screen, 1,236-seat, 55.1k sf movie theater, followed by Residency Art Gallery, a platform for artists of color, in August 2023 and will continue to expand in a phased approach as new tenants open their doors to the public. Other featured concepts include Cosm, a global leader in experiential media and immersive technology, Iconix Fitness and Three Weavers GRDN, the latest venture from Lynne Weaver, founder of Inglewood’s Three Weavers Brewing Company. These new retailers will be joined by Grilled Fraiche fusion cuisine by South Los Angeles’ Peace Love Reedburg, a second location for family-owned Inglewood-based juice bar Antojitos Martin, and Red Bay Coffee by Keba Konte, a renowned artist and successful food entrepreneur.

When complete, Hollywood Park will have up to 2,500 residences, a 300-room hotel, a retail district reaching up to 890k sf, up to 5 msf of creative office space and more than 25 acres of public parks and open space. SoFi Stadium is the centerpiece of the development and, in addition to being the home of the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, it will host the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2028 Olympics. Together with the adjacent YouTube Theater, the two venues hold over 250 annual events.
