Transwestern Development Company (TDC®) has broken ground on a new 98.9k sf industrial facility, Legacy at Palmdale, located in the Fairway Business Park on Legacy Lane in the northern L.A. County city of Palmdale.
Legacy at Palmdale will be developed on two parcels totaling just under five acres on Legacy Lane, south of West Avenue O. The facility will include cutting-edge building features such as 32-foot clear heights, 15 dock-high doors, grade-level loading, an ESFR sprinkler system and 5k sf of office space.
Located east of Hwy 14, Legacy at Palmdale offers exceptional transit options. The site is just south of Palmdale Regional Airport, and the highway provides direct access with on/off ramps at Rancho Vista Boulevard and Avenue N.
“Palmdale is the hub of investment and growth,” said District 1 Councilmember Austin Bishop. “Our business-friendly environment, geography, qualified workforce, affordable living, and quality of life are attractive to a diverse range of industries, and we know this facility will attract only the best tenants.”
Transwestern’s Development Manager Nick Borzi, Sr. Development Manager Scott Heaviside, and Sr. Vice President of Construction Tim Stuchly oversaw the development of the project.
CBRE’s Craig Peters and Richard Ramirez are leasing the property. Currently, TDC has 25 industrial projects totaling 14.23 msf under construction or in pre-development planning stages across the country.
