A 32.8k sf building leased to United State Postal Service in San Diego was sold in a $9.6 mil ($293/sf) off-market transaction.
The USPS University City Annex building is located at 5045 Shoreham Place, just minutes from the I-805 and SR-52 Freeways, providing convenient access to neighboring communities.
JLL’s Brian Quinn and Bryan Cunningham represented the seller, The MacDonald Family Trust, which acquired the property in 1999. The buyer was Postal Realty Holdings LLC.
“As the capital markets environment normalizes, we are seeing investors looking to acquire well-tenanted, stabilized properties, no matter the property type,” said Brian Quinn, JLL Senior Vice President. “The buyer, who solely invests in US Postal Service buildings, plans to hold the building long-term.”
