In a Colorado retail trade, Regency Centers has purchased Shops at Highland Walk, a 94.8k sf King Soopers-anchored shopping center in Highlands Ranch, CO, for $37.1 mil ($391/sf). Located at 4000 Red Cedar Dr, the property is 98% leased to 17 tenants and includes two multi-tenant inline buildings flanking King Soopers with four additional outparcel buildings on the perimeter.
Jon Hendrickson and Aaron Johnson of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, Shea Properties, in the transaction.
“Shops at Highland Walk is the prototype of grocery anchored centers in Colorado,” said Hendrickson. “Every retail investor would want the center in their portfolio, but only one buyer can prevail. Shea Properties built and cared for a tremendous asset and selected the perfect steward for the Highlands Ranch community as the purchaser.”
