There have been three new signings at CITYCENTRE Six, a newly completed, 320k sf office tower in Houston’s CITYCENTRE mixed-use district. The latest deals, with VoltaGrid, Octave and Enverus, along with an earlier commitment from Dow, bring the 19-story high-rise to roughly 90% leased. The building is a development of Houston-based Midway.
Dow will occupy a substantial portion of CITYCENTRE Six for a new Houston office hub in the heart of CITYCENTRE’s walkable, amenity rich setting. Along with Dow, these latest three signings highlight the tower’s focus on energy, technology and innovation. They include: VoltaGrid, a fast growing provider of intelligent, lower emission distributed power and microgrid solutions; Octave, a global provider of the software behind the world's most critical assets and infrastructure; and Enverus, a leading energy SaaS and analytics platform. Tenants are currently building out their interior spaces and are expected to open in stages this spring and summer.
Located at the northern gateway of CITYCENTRE, CITYCENTRE Six includes 12k sf of street level retail and restaurant space now in active lease negotiations, all anchored by a new half acre of green space that extends the district’s network of plazas and creates a gracious urban front door from I 10. The tower is designed as a next generation workplace, with a double height lobby, efficient floor plates, a nine level parking structure with underground parking and direct access, and 24 hour front desk security, offering a secure, highly amenitized environment within Houston’s premier mixed use district.
Midway is also in predevelopment for additional office opportunities at CITYCENTRE, building on the success of CITYCENTRE Six and the district’s strong office leasing performance. These future phases will further enhance the district’s live work play environment and appeal to leading corporations and professional services firms.
The project team for CITYCENTRE Six includes Kirksey, architect of record; Munoz + Albin Architecture and Planning, design architect; and OJB Landscape Architecture, landscape design; and D.E. Harvey Builders, general contractor.
Michael Anderson and team at Partners Real Estate represented Midway in the lease transactions. Dow was represented by Ronnie Deyo and Lonna Jenks at JLL, along with national account partner Newmark. VoltaGrid was represented by Gary Lawless Jr. and Dustin Cruz at Cresa; Octave by Kevin Saxe at CBRE; Enverus by Samuel Slovacek and Mark Harris at JLL.
