Nordic Partners Investments has purchased John Winthrop Apartments, a 79-unit multifamily property located at 1020 Seneca Street in Seattle's historic First Hill neighborhood. The price was not disclosed.
Built in 1925, John Winthrop Apartments offer studio and one-bedroom residences full of vintage charm. Two units have been fully renovated, while the remaining 77 present a compelling opportunity for the new owner to drive cash flow growth through a continued unit upgrade program.
Situated just east of downtown, First Hill is one of Seattle's most well-connected neighborhoods, offering proximity to major employers, medical institutions, and transit options. Its walkable access to the Pike/Pine corridor gives residents an abundance of dining, shopping, and entertainment, reinforcing First Hill's standing as one of the city's most sought-after rental submarkets.
Dylan Simon, Jerrid Anderson, and JD Fuller of Kidder Mathews’ Simon | Anderson Multifamily Team represented the seller and procured the buyer. The buyer, Nordic Partners Investments, is an investment group specializing in value-add multifamily acquisitions throughout the city.
"First Hill continues to reveal hidden gems like John Winthrop," said Simon. "Well-maintained buildings of this vintage rarely come to market, and when they do—especially with meaningful value-add potential in a location this proven—they generate strong demand from experienced investors."
