We have news of six recent multifamily trades throughout the Bay Area to report, in deals totaling $35.7 mil. The assets are located in San Francisco, the Peninsula, and the East Bay. Levin Johnston of Marcus & Millichap was involving in brokering these transactions.
The transactions include:
• The $5.5 mil sale of 1499 Union Street, a 12-unit multifamily property in San Francisco.
• The $3.5 mil sale of Belmont Palms, a 15-unit multifamily property located at 700 El Camino Real in Belmont, on the San Francisco Peninsula.
• The $1.725 mil sale of 1327 Ashby Avenue, an eight-unit multifamily property in Berkeley.
• The $21 mil sale of The Amelia, an 83-unit multifamily property 411 29th Street in the Pill Hill district of Oakland. T
• The $1.8 mil sale of 305 Lenox Avenue, a 10-unit multifamily property in the Adams Point neighborhood of Oakland.
• The $2.185 mil sale of 654 Vernon Street, a 15-unit multifamily property in the Great Lake neighborhood of Oakland.
The sales capitalize on growing renter demand in San Francisco and its immediately surrounding areas, as the city has seen some of the strongest multifamily rent gains in the country in 2025, a trajectory that is expected to continue this year, notes Robert Johnston, Executive Managing Director of Levin Johnston.
